Folk, a modest, but intelligent family of chair, stool and table is the result of one of two new collaborations with London design studio PearsonLloyd.

Originally intended to be a bistro chair, Folk matured into something more versatile. Stripped back with a softness and sturdiness, its earthy simplicity is suitable for a diverse range of settings in small or large volumes.

Finish options completely change the look and feel of Folk. Available in 6 powder coat finishes with matching colour washes with either a matching wood or plastic seat and back, as well as an upholstered seat and back. A range of table sizes, featuring a corner knuckle that continues Folk’s design language across the family.

Its low profile back has been meticulously contoured to maximise support and comfort and Folk’s compact footprint stays true to its unobtrusive nature and is stackable in 4s.

As part of its honest timelessness, materials and finishes have been carefully chosen that develop a pleasing patina over time. Seamless and glueless, Folk has no visible fixings. Its flatpack nature means it can be stored in volume, assembled anywhere in minutes and is always ready to be shipped.

Folk was launched in Europe during Clerkenwell Design Week 2019 at our Creative Laboratory in London. The collection will launch in North America during NeoCon 2019, in our permanent showroom in the Merchandise Mart, Chicago.
